Havana Maple Beauty was born from the dream of blending science, nature, and self-care in the purest form. We are Liz Penabaz and Raiko Herrera, a husband-and-wife duo from Cuba who came to Canada together with the hope of building a meaningful future.

As a chemical engineer, Liz has always been passionate about the power of natural ingredients. During her university thesis, she focused on the cosmetic benefits of Moringa oil—an extraordinary ingredient packed with antioxidants, vitamins, and skin-loving nutrients. That research became the seed that would eventually grow into Havana Maple Beauty.

With the technical expertise and shared vision of Raiko, an automation engineer, we began handcrafting our first products—lip balms, creams, and soaps—formulated with care, love, and a strong scientific foundation. Each product is designed to offer honest, effective, and nourishing skincare, using ingredients like Moringa oil, shea butter, and essential oils.
